Isolated
Isolated from its parts
by the pressure of individual identity
and the force of creation's heat
destinies freeze into form
and random character develops
variable fates sensitive
to echoes of initial conditions.

Messengers across exploding space
ignoring direction and cause
race for perception's target
with all haste allowed,
entering delicate sextants posed
within spheres of turbulent consciousness,
illuminating not the message
but only the medium.

Lost in the fury of transmission
meaning is stripped of any mass;
all information is translated
in a language simple and long:
the on and off, there and not,
the hide and go seek
of communication pulsing
in a universe thick with time and space entwined,
twisting the boundaries of cognition
back upon the surface of waiting membranes.

Within a complete whole
the instrument of knowledge
distorts the rough texture of symmetry's walls
into illusions of smooth certainty
and captive dimensions standing still
in the tempest of entropy's will.
