The interface between man and machine is becoming increasingly blurred. To the artist this question is mute. Using machines to create art always involves compromise between the artist and his tools, even if that tool is only a gathering of horse hairs or silicone components. This struggle extends past any type of tool and involves deeply the relationship of the tool to the artist.
