Artist's Notes for City in the Future

A true Fractal Image, produced with Fractal Explorer Version 1.23b4. Slight color adjustments were made with Compupic, a graphics program.

The subject matter of this image is confined by large blocks of abstract form. These blocks are unified by their compositional placement. color similarity and the thin 'shadow' of the curving "highway" that leads into the City in the Future.

By splitting the frame view into complimentary compositional areas the confined perspective depth of the image is highlighted. The detail draws the eye inward, through the abstract blocks of color. 

The overall feeling of this image is one of something important in the distance. Thus the title: City in the Future.
